"Das Welfenzimmer" is a small restaurant set in the Villa Viktoria Luise, an Art Nouveau Villa from the 19th century. The small menu features local and traditional dishes with a bit of a modern take. The beautiful terrace, overlooking Blankenburg castle adds to the atmosphere during the warmer months of the year

From the welfare room you have a beautiful view of the place. The service was very friendly and attentive. We both had the roulade which was excellent. Likewise the dessert. It was the best dinner we had in Blankenburg. Thank you

The food was very good. The mushrooms were excellent, the schnitzel was delicious, but the highlight was the roulade and the homemade potato noodles. You have a beautiful view of the castle and the city and you sit very comfortably. The staff was very attentive and friendly and special requests were accommodated and unproblematic.
